The success of civilisation depends on a free, friendly and reasonable government. This applies as much to the Crown as it does to municipal government. As such, the Baron takes a free, friendly and reasonable approach to governing the Manor. 

The Manor of Cuckfield is divided into four central offices. These are the Steward's Office, the Censor Office, the Peace Office and the Diplomatic Office. These are supported by the Baron's Council (the chief officers within each office) and the Court (an advisory body made up of the Baron's family, friends, allies and representatives from external organisations). These are further supported by the Manorial Assemblies (a citizen body for Cuckfield and Haywards Heath to deliberate, raise and make proposals and solutions to the Baron on a range of public problems). 

The Baron's work focuses on local, national and even international government. We welcome anyone from a virtuous, self sufficient and public spirited background to apply to work for the Baron.
